Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia to adopt Korean for regular school curriculum
BUSAN, Nov. 26 (Yonhap) — Three more member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) — Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia — plan to adopt Korean for the regular curriculum at their secondary schools beginning next year, officials said Tuesday.
South Korean Minister of Education Yoo Eun-hae signed an MOU with Laos’ vice education minister on Korean education in the Southeast Asian nation on the sidelines of the ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit under way in Busan.
